This year’s conference theme, "Strength in Numbers," is a celebration of a decade of data-informed progress from across our network and an opportunity to discuss our future direction. Join us for our 10th-anniversary celebration. We will look back at the evidence-informed progress we’ve made as a sector but also look forward to the pressing issues of the day. This year the event will take place at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA from May 20–22, 2019.

Senior Director of School Based Programs
Leah provides strategic leadership for AchieveMpls school-based programs, including the Career and College Centers, the Career Readiness Initiative, and Graduation Coaches. Prior to her current position, Leah held a number of roles in the Chicago Public School District. She began her career as a school counselor in a large urban high school in Chicago, where she managed a caseload of students and oversaw post-secondary advising, academic advising, freshmen on-track strategies and behavioral health supports.

She has also supported a number of public high schools around building a positive student and adult climate through the use of restorative student disciplinary practices, the creation of strong professional learning communities and the incorporation of data into decision-making processes.
Leah earned her BA in education studies and American culture studies from Washington University in St. Louis and received her MA with an emphasis on community schooling from the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration.
