Justin Dayhoff is an education and data consultant and the Chief Executive Officer of Dayhoff Consulting Services, LLC. Justin has more than ten years of experience and training in and around public schools (including as a teacher and data coach) that make him an especially valuable consultant for education- and data-focused clients. He is a quantitative researcher who focuses on school-finance equity (including funding formulae); data collection, management, and analysis; and program evaluation.
Justin left teaching to pursue a PhD in Education Policy Studies and a doctoral certificate in Education Measurement and Statistics at The University of Maryland in College Park. Justin is currently writing his dissertation on fiscal equity and weighted-student funding models. In Maryland, Justin has worked as a research associate in large-scale education evaluation through Westat and as an Applied Research, Assessment, and Reporting Analyst for Prince George’s County Public Schools. He also served as an Education Fellow under Maryland House Majority Leader, Anne Kaiser. Justin holds a Masters degree in Sociology and Education (concentrating in Education Policy) from Columbia University Teacher’s College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from New York University
