Andrew Corcoran
I am an Associate Program Officer on the Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. My work primarily focuses on improved use of education data and evidence, education to career pathways, and internal analytics. I am an R user that is really interested in ways to bring better data and analytics to philanthropy.
Prior to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, I served as Director of Programs at Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter High School in Washington, D.C, where I designed and managed out-of-school time programming and wrap-around services for over 400 students annually. I have also worked for the Child and Family Research Partnership at the University of Texas, the City of Austin’s Economic Development Department, and as an analyst for the U.S Government Accountability Office’s Education, Workforce, and Income Security Team. I have a B.A from American University and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas.
